The Consul's Suite

Littorin's suite has most of the original furniture left, which has received modern lovely colours on the fabrics. The suite overlooks the castle park. Genuine room with oak touches.

It is 1860 when Knut Henrik Littorin was born as the third child in the marriage of Sven Henrik and Bernhardine. He moves to Gothenburg to study business administration at the Institute of Commerce where he meets several people who will be decisive for his future. On the one hand, he is taken under the protection of Oscar Dickson's wings, which will be of great importance for his professional career — and secondly, here he meets his life companion, Maria Jacobsson. Knut Henrik is described on the one hand as an enterprising and enthusiastic person, and on the other as a domineering and austere gentleman who is usually strictly occupied with his affairs.
