When Ferdinand Boberg thinks about the exterior of the building, he finds inspiration for decorations in the surrounding environment. Squirrels and owls do not make up the entire animal tribe on Bjertorp's estate, but they are frequent visitors and faithful residents of the castle park. On the part of the exterior facing the pond and the golf course, Boberg lets the park's tenants believe forever. The squirrel and the owl. Together they look out over the property.
