In late 19th century Stockholm, the Notini family are some of the foremost stucco artists in the country. The progenitor Giovanni Nutini was born in 1804 in Camigliano, Italy and emigrated to Sweden at the age of 22. He is a great artistic talent and decides early on to devote his life to the art of sculpting. His two sons and four of his grandsons would also choose the same course. Notini is one of the boys hired to do the stucco work at Bjertorp.
