About the golf course

Park your car at the castle when you check in then you won't have to use it any more during your golfing stay so close it is to golf course. The golf club was formed in 1990 and is a park and woodland course in a castle setting with personal service. Once on the course, you will be greeted by meditative tranquility out in nature.

Vara-Bjertorp is an open parkway with elements of heath and forest. The course is very well maintained and provides challenges to all types of players. Here you can of course rent a cart, clubs and golf cart. There is a driving range, large practice area, short hole course and an 18-hole course.

Vara-Bjertorp GK has for several years been voted number one in Västergötland and also top 50 in Sweden by Golf Digest magazine in its annual ranking of Swedish golf courses.

Golf shop & restaurant

IN golf restaurant The clubhouse serves a good golf lunch and the golf shop has everything you need for your visit to Vara-Bjertorp GK, such as clubs, balls, gloves, shoes and bags. All kinds of facilities, such as practice area and driving range are adjacent to the clubhouse. Then there is the finishing touch which is Bjertorp Slott, which is within easy walking distance of the golf course.
