Big decisions can be even bigger. The consul, Maria Littorin, was not a small-scale woman. When she compared the drawings of Bjertorp Castle with the grand Russian salons she had stayed in during her time in Russia, she was appalled by the smallness. The cubit was immediately changed to meters and the castle became almost twice as large. In other words, the generous bedroom of the consular staff, which can actually be enlarged if necessary, is an excellent place for big and decisive decisions.
